Join us and the Conway Symphony Guild for a concert just for kids with crafts, books, and instrument petting zoo.
Free Family Concert! Join Maestro Izzy on this forest adventure as John Sebastian Bear sets out to find the instrument that is “just right” for him. Composed by CSO Composer-in-Residence, Paul Dickinson, the piece introduces young people to musical concepts and the instruments of the orchestra in a fun and exciting way.
This concert is geared to children ages 3-8 years old but will be appreciated by all ages. The musical program is approximately 20 minutes with time for questions with the Maestro and musicians following the performance. Other post-concert activities take place in the lobby.
CSO Guild members invite families to stay after the concert to engage in craft activities. CSO musicians offer an instrument petting zoo for kids to try instruments, and the Faulkner County Library will host a book display that complements the event.
