Friday, July 10
10:00am - 11:00am
Faulkner County Library
Program Space 1Explore color theory, practice color mixing, and learn how to paint using transparent layers with watercolor.
Watercolor with Christina continues in July! This time we'll be practicing specific watercolor skills. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own supplies but some will be provided by the library.

Supplies Needed:
- Paper: Bee Inspired watercolor paper from Walmart. It is inexpensive, fairly thick, and absorbs multiple washes.
- Brushes: One large and one small round watercolor brush (for example, sizes 12 and 6).
- Paints: Transparent watercolor paints (either pans or tubes). The tube set from Walmart works well.
- Palette: A palette tray with a lid. This is necessary if you use tube paints so you can safely store the leftover paint.
(Note on Paint Colors - Please don't go crazy at the store! Feel free to buy color sets, but the only colors you truly need to buy are the basics: red, yellow, and blue)

This class is free and open to the public. Intended for ages 16 and up.
