The Shotgun House dives headlong into the closed and corrupt world of small-town politics and how far some will go to get what they want. As a raging storm heads toward River Overlook, a traveler stumbles upon something that can undo everything that the town's respected constable has worked to build, and also some things that he has worked hard to forget. Whatever careful plans were laid by men here, they are nothing compared to what the trees are hiding.

About the author:
Michael Gajeski has nurtured a life-long obsession with all things that go bump in the night. In his debut novel, he has combined that fascination with horror and his love of Arkansas' National Forests into a story that will keep you guessing at every turn. A life-long resident of Conway, he is working hard to put the Natural State on the map for fans of mystery and horror. Join him as he talks about the writing process and how he is building a world within a world right here in your back yard.
