Children's Room, Program Space 1, Story RoomParents & caregivers join us for a workshop that will equip you with the tools, strategies, and confidence to support your young readers in grades 1-3. Registration required.
Every child deserves the chance to grow into a confident reader—and families are essential to that journey. These workshops are designed to empower and equip families with tools, and confidence to support reading with: - Practical, easy-to-use strategies to support literacy at home for 1st–3rd grade readers
- Connections to local literacy resources, including libraries and community partners
- Guidance on understanding school literacy assessments and standardized scores—and
how to confidently advocate for their reader(s)
This is a 1-hour interactive presentation, including dedicated time for questions and
conversation.
Children of participants are invited to a storytime and activity during this program.
Together, we’re building stronger readers and closing the literacy gap in Arkansas—
one family at a time.
