Taste Test Kitchen is an opportunity for young chefs of all skill levels to practice their cooking skills while creating and tasting a new recipe each month.
Taste Test Kitchen is a program for tweens and teens that provides basic cooking instructions and food safety education in a supportive and collaborative environment. Each session teaches skills such as reading a recipe, kitchen safety, collaboration, and sharing with others while providing the opportunity for participants to be creative in the kitchen.
In the spring of 2026, we'll be focusing on some cooking basics with the following recipes:
January - Ice Cream Cookie Sandwiches
February - Heart Shaped Mini Pizza + Ranch Dipping Sauce
March - Irish Potato Pancakes
April - Grandma's Wacky Chocolate Cake
May - Water Pie
The Conway library serves as the headquarters library for the county sytem of six libraries as well as the Faulkner County–Van Buren County Regional Library.
