We are thrilled to announce a visit by Ruth Coker Burks to talk about her book "All the Young Men"
Join us for an evening with a special guest on Tuesday, October 1st. In partnership with UCA Public Appearances, Ruth Coker Burks will be at the Library! Stop by and enjoy light refreshments and a meet-and-greet at 6:30 pm to be followed by a reading from Ruth and audience Q&A starting at 7:00 pm. This event is free and open to the public. The intended audience is ages 16 and up.

About Ruth Coker Burks:
Ruth Coker Burks was an unlikely advocate for people with AIDS / HIV. A single mom in Arkansas with no background in the medical field, Ruth became involved in the AIDS / HIV crisis while visiting a friend at the University of Arkansas Medical Center in 1984. Since then, Ruth has spent over 30 years caring for people who were abandoned by their families and neglected by medical professionals.
